Question 1: What infrastructure changes will I have to make to adopt Smart Retail?

Answer 1: Zero! Smart Retail has been designed from the ground up so that it can integrate well and become a part of retail stores. It leverages so much of software that hardware dependency is greatly reduced. The main constituents are beacons and sensors, which are easy to install or remove.

Question 2: How does Smart Retail protect the customer's data?

Answer 2: Data security is one of the prime concerns for any retailer, which is why, we have created the solution on one of the industry-leading cloud platforms that is Microsoft Azure. They have various forms of security embedded within the platform, which makes it very simple for any store owner. The data resides in the cloud and can only be accessed by the designated personnel.

Question 3: My store does not have a mobile app, can I still use Smart Retail?

Answer 3: Absolutely! Smart Retail comes with SDKs for iOS and Android devices. If you do not want to spend on app development, you can use our existing SDK.

Question 4: I do not have a database of my customers, how is Smart Retail useful to me?

Answer 4: As they say, there is a first time for everything. In the absence of a database, you will need to create one. The good news is that it integrates with most ERP, CRM, supply chain software, so that you do not have to create a brand new process to populate your database.

Question 5: How often can I create campaigns? Is there any limit?

Answer 5: You can create as many campaigns as you want. Smart Retail will ensure they are executed as planned and you will not need to monitor them. The best part is that you can combine many of the features to increase the accuracy of your campaigns. For example, customer groups can be combined with virtual zones as well as beacons and sensors. This way, you are ensuring that one of the channels is definitely going to engage the customer.
